This time is strictly dedicated to the prepared environment, Materials and Methods. The morning slot is aimed at class time where children work on their preferred material, whereas the afternoon slot lends it self to continue what the children have started in the morning or just simply do other things, such as practical life:
 

• Prepare a snack

• Bake muffins

• Wash ones dishes

• Many other practical activities
